Loop and artist Andrew Footit team up to create colorful, limited-edition Experience earplugs that make a splash

PRESS RELEASE

Loop x Andrew Footit earplugs empower users to live out loud at their volume. Through an eye-catching limited-edition pair that provides decibel coverage for live music and events and redefines category conventions as the first set to serve as a work of art you can wear.

Why make a splash?

The disruptor earplug brand’s latest Limited Edition boasts a dazzling terrazzo of splashy primary colors. Loop’s latest example of design-led earwear that reimagines the earplug product category.

‘Working with Andrew Footit meant a fresh approach to colors and materials,’ says Loop’s Senior Product Designer, Damien Laglera. ‘We were able to once again deliver on Loop’s reputation for award-winning product design.’

Given the complexity of the earplugs’ terrazzo pattern, Damien and his team settled on a manual water transfer process as the best approach to production. This also means every set of Loop x Andrew Footit earplugs is unique – one more way they make a splash and empower users to live life at their volume.

Creating one-of-a-kind Experience earplugs

Partnerships like this allow cutting-edge creative talent to showcase their unique vision through the global platform Loop has created. And the collaboration with UK-based artist Andrew Footit is the first of its kind.

Andrew is renowned for bright, bold and playful design and typographical work that chimes with Loop’s live-out-loud approach to lifestyle earwear. ‘I create through experimentation,’ he says. ‘By playing with patterns and colors that are active and inspiring and allow others to express themselves through my work.’ This set of Experience earplugs is intended for active use cases where coverage that doesn’t hinder is key. Think live music, nightlife, focus and noise sensitivity.

It’s no surprise that Experience earplugs – for Loopers around the world who live out loud – were the perfect match for this collaboration. As both Damien and Andrew put it, ‘trends are boring.’

A work of art you can wear

Loop x Andrew Footit Experience earplugs offer up to 18 dB (SNR) of decibel coverage that won’t impact sound quality. Each set comes with a limited-edition Carry Case with a distinctive yellow keychain attachment and eye-catching packaging. Additionally, a limited-edition Mute accessory pack will be available for purchase separately.

Sets will be available for $39.95 (€34.95/£34.95), and limited-edition Loop Mute sets for $19.95/€19.95/£19.95), from Feb 20th, 2024, exclusively at www.loopearplugs.com. Only while supplies last.
