"I really like my Loops! They're very pretty and comfortable. They don't fully fit my ears as well as I'd like but they fit well enough given that these kinds of earbuds have never worked for me. They just tend to fall out. My left ear is somewhere between XS and S, which is a shame, so I just use S because that one at least seals and stays okay most of the time. The color is very pretty, but the iridescent definitely shifts more green on one and more orange on one. That doesn't necessarily bother me, but it is to be noted for those who would care. The case is really easy to wear on keys as well, which is grand. Overall very happy and they make a massive difference for my tolerance of loud environments."

"I have been interested in this product for many years now but I never really needed them. However, when the day when the streets filled with tourists and all the electronics around me has gotten so loud has finally come, I saw it as an opportunity to invest in my peace. I finally bought them! I bought a pair of Engage earplugs and two pairs of Quiet 2 earplugs so that my partner enjoys their peace as well. And guess what, we both love them and use them daily! I use Engage loops at work mainly, and Quiet 2 loops for reading or anything really that takes place outdoors where there’s traffic or too much human noise. It’s like heaven. I personally prefer to use them with the mute add ons, which I've got from a previous purchase of Loop Experiences. Would be even neater, if there could be see-through silicone mutes for the clear loops."
"Hi ! These are absolutely amazing. I have chronic illness, fatigue and depression, and I’m very sensitive at noise and hustle. But with 3 kids (boys) I can’t always prevent them to play. So I saw loop in Instagram and I decided to try them. It’s one week that I use it and I am reborn ! I am less anxious, more calm because the noise doesn’t hurt me anymore. The dB (or decibel) rating tells you how much quieter things get when you wear them. The higher the number, the more sound is reduced.
Engage reduces up to 16 dBs. Lower than the rest of the lineup – and intentionally so. In social situations, you don't want to tune people out. You want to take the edge off the background so whoever you’re talking to is easier to hear.
Compare that with Experience, which reduces up to 17 dBs. The numbers are close, but the filters work differently. Experience is for music: it keeps sound clear and balanced at loud volumes. Engage is for speech: it's designed to reduce the muffled, blocked-ear sensation so voices stay natural when you're talking.
Higher dB isn't "better", it's about what the filter is built to let through. For conversations and social situations, Engage's 16 dB rating is just right.

Dream and Quiet are designed to block as much sound as possible. Experience and Engage are designed to let a quieter version of sound through – so music still sounds like music and voices stay clear. Their lower ratings are the point.
The rating is measured in a lab, with a perfect fit. In real life, how much reduction you get depends on wearing them correctly: the right ear tip size, inserted properly.
