Teaming up with Marie Wynants: fashion photographer and Loop earplugs superfan

Spring is… springing! And Loop’s kicking things off with a game-changing Seasonal Collection: a curated series of eye-catching colors available for every set of Loop earplugs. Inspired by endless days and nights full of light, music, focus & freedom.

And the brand teamed up with fashion photographer Marie Wynants to bring the collection to life.

The brief: taking back the solstice

The Solstice Collection is a celebration of Loop’s day-and-night, year-round commitment to revolutionary hearing protection.

The result? A showstopping set of colors – Violet Solstice, Cerise Sunset and Amber Sunrise – is available for every set of Loop earplugs. Inspired by the sights and sounds of the solstice: the longest days and nights of the year.

Backed by synth-heavy 80s beats, eye-catching packaging and an electric sunset of color, Solstice is all about empowering users to take back the day and reclaim the night. For focus, joy, music, hearing protection and personal freedom.

Our task for photographer Marie Wynants? To translate the collection’s bold vision through imagery that both throws back and propels users forward, through fashion and revolutionary design.

Catching up with Marie

We caught up with Marie between shots on the Solstice set. With a camera in hand, and models, stylists and creatives from Loop’s Agency bustling around her, Marie boils down her impressive body of work into a single sentence: “I work with bodies and emotions,” she tells us.

“And I combine these elements to tell visual stories that pop.”

With a list of clients including Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Celvaux and Ann Demeulemeester, her approach is working. And it’s perfectly suited to the kind of bold, emotional imagery Solstice demands.

Making magic on the Solstice set

In preparation for the shoot, Marie – a Loop superfan – has accumulated quite an impressive collection of Loop Earplugs and has a pair of sleek, black earplugs for every occasion!

“I travel all over the world for my work, and I always have my Loop Quiets with me on planes so I can sleep. I also worked a few festivals and had my Loop Experience set at the ready.”

We asked Marie about how her love for the brand influenced her work on the shoot. “I was already a big Loop fan before Loop reached out. So I was thrilled to create a visual style for the collection.”

“For the shoot, we’re drawing on the things I love most about the brand and the products: crisp, clean light to express the powerful emotional dynamics of the Solstice story.”

Marie continues: “my favorite is Loop Quiet in Amber Sunrise, but I am a fan of the Experience version too, because they look so elevated. It’s like they’re jewelry.”
